Jaakko Oskar Pakkala was born in Isokyrö in December 7th, 1879. Oskar (Oscar?) moved to Michigan, US and married in 1905 Hetvik Sofia (neé Mäenpää) who was also born in Finland in Kauhajoki. They had six children but two of them passed away as child. They moved back to Finland app. in 1908 for a couple of years and at least one of the children was born in Isokyrö. After that they returned to Michigan, US, where Oskar passed away in August 12th, 1916 - he was only 36 years old. Wife Hetvik Sofia passed away in November 29th, 1963 in US.
